DMS expands across the North of England

Jul 24, 2024

We are delighted to announce our recent expansion with the opening of our office in Yorkshire, headed by DMS Director Michael Wallington, pictured below;

Michael Wallington

The son of a proud Yorkshireman, Mike opened our doors for business at the prestigious Raise Building, located in the heart of Yorkshire. It's a perfect location to serve the DMS growing customer base, providing easy access to our clients throughout the east of the country.

Having first worked with DMS Managing Director Stephen Small over 20 years ago, Mike is delighted to take on the challenge of building the business and developing his Yorkshire team.

The Yorkshire office will provide the same comprehensive range of technology solutions currently offered by DMS Bolton which include Managed Document Services, Audio Visual Solutions, IT Services, Security & Communications and Managed Services.

“Mike has vast knowledge and experience of working with schools and businesses around the UK, providing innovative tech solutions in an honest and transparent way. DMS business in Yorkshire has continued to see strong levels of growth in recent years and we are committed to maintaining a strong presence in the region. Mike has ambitious growth plans for the Yorkshire office and we have no doubt he will succeed based on his customer-centric approach and past performance.” said Stephen.

The move signals the next phase in the firm’s growth strategy and will allow us to fully service our existing and new customers across the region. The last five years has seen an unprecedented demand for digital transformation within organisations in the UK and we are uniquely positioned to not only advise and develop solutions for our customers, but have also secured places on multiple DfE approved frameworks, simplifying the procurement process for the education sector as a whole.

Unlike traditional procurement methods, these frameworks eliminate the need for a separate, full tender process each time you need to purchase – significantly reducing both the time and costs usually associated with procuring ed-tech solutions.

Mike adds “I am super excited to take on this challenge and begin to develop our physical presence in Yorkshire. Investing in a new office is not just about increasing our capacity, it is about having a great place for our staff to do business that is energised and sustainable. The Raise Building ticks all of our boxes and we are looking forward to putting roots down, increasing our presence here and getting involved in Yorkshire’s business community.”
